Help Improve Support for Carers

The People for Public Services forum would like to invite you to its online forum on:

Tuesday 12th January 2021, 14:00 – 15:00

Do you provide unpaid care to a family member, friend or neighbour, someone who needs support? Is this person in need of your help due to frailty, age, physical illness, mental health condition, or addiction?

If you answered yes to either, or both, of the questions above, it is extremely likely that you are a Carer.

While being a Carer doesn’t define you, it may mean that you have some important legal rights including the right to certain types of financial support, practical help, assistance technology and rights in the workplace.

Forward Carers will be leading the discussion about how to raise awareness of the work Carers undertake, share positive experiences of accessing support during Covid-19 and hear your views on how you found accessing support during Covid-19.
